Hire dedicated developers who stay on your product.
TwinTeams recruits senior developers in Vietnam for one customer: your company. Teams of five or more, twelve months or longer, and you interview every hire.
We don't place individual developers.
TwinTeams builds dedicated teams: five developers minimum, twelve months minimum, each developer working for your company alone.
If you need one freelancer for a six-week build, a marketplace is the right tool. TwinTeams is built for continuing product work: the roadmap is bigger than the team, local hiring is slow and expensive at the senior end, and product knowledge needs to accumulate across releases.
The minimum is what makes the model work. Five developers can deliver meaningful product work as a team, with enough people for peer review, shared context and continuity. As they learn your product, that knowledge is shared across the team instead of sitting with one person.
What "dedicated" means here
- Recruited for you: each role is specified against your stack and roadmap, then hired from the open market. Nobody is assigned from a bench.
- You interview every hire: final round is yours, and nobody joins without your approval.
- One customer per developer: your team's developers never split their time across other accounts.
- We run the employment: recruitment, payroll, equipment, HR, and support. You direct the work: roadmap, priorities, standards.
The full model, including team structure and the buyer's checklist, is in the guide: What is a dedicated development team?
What you get when you hire a development team
A team starts at five engineers: a tech lead and four seniors.
You define the product stream and the roles that serve it. We turn each role into a specification against your stack, recruit against that specification in Vietnam, and bring every candidate who passes technical verification to you for final round. You interview every engineer, and nobody joins without your approval.
When it makes sense to outsource a development team
This fits a roadmap that keeps going: five or more roles, twelve months or longer, and work that continues after the first release. It is not project outsourcing. We do not take a specification away and hand back a finished system.
You outsource the employment. The roadmap, the priorities, the architecture, and the product decisions stay with you. TwinTeams runs recruitment, employment, payroll, equipment, and HR.
The difference from freelancers and individual placements
Freelancers are a good fit for scoped, short work. TwinTeams is designed for a continuing product roadmap that needs five or more developers working together.
Individual placements add developers to your existing process one at a time. TwinTeams recruits the whole team against your stack and roadmap, with each developer assigned only to your company.
A TwinTeams dedicated team is built for continuity. The developers you interview join your roadmap for a minimum twelve-month engagement, allowing product knowledge to accumulate within the team. The longer comparison is in how a dedicated team compares with individual placements.
How hiring works
- Define the roles: we work through your stack, roadmap, and team together and turn them into role specifications.
- We recruit: sourcing and technical verification run in Vietnam, against your specifications.
- You interview: every candidate who passes verification comes to you for final round.
- The team starts: in your repositories, to your standards, inside the process you already run.
- We keep running the employment side: payroll, equipment, HR, and support, for the life of the team.
Why Vietnam
Vietnam has spent two decades building software for international product companies, and the senior end of the market is deep: developers with ten or more years on production systems, available at rates the Australian and Singaporean markets can't match.
TwinTeams is an Australian company. Contracts and governance run to Australian and Singapore standards, with developer hubs in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Working hours overlap with Australia and Singapore, so your team is online when you are.
Working with UK and US teams
Vietnam is six hours ahead of the UK during BST and seven hours ahead during GMT. The UK morning overlaps with the Vietnam afternoon. The operating model comes from LogicalCube, which began in the UK in 2008.
For US companies the arithmetic is harder. Vietnam is 11 to 15 hours ahead of US time zones, depending on the zone and the season, so there is no full working day in common. Before treating Vietnam as a match, test the work against that: whether a limited overlap window, plus what gets handed over in writing outside it, fits how your team actually operates.
Hiring dedicated developers: FAQs
Can I hire a single dedicated developer?
No. TwinTeams builds teams of five developers or more, for twelve months or longer. A single developer joins someone else's process and leaves with the knowledge they built; a team carries its own delivery capacity, and what it learns about your product stays in the team.
How long does it take to hire a dedicated team?
Recruitment starts as soon as the roles are defined, and you see candidates as they pass technical verification rather than waiting for a finished roster. The timeline depends on the roles: common stacks fill faster than rare ones. We give you a realistic estimate per role before we start.
Who manages the developers day to day?
You direct the work: roadmap, priorities, standards. We run recruitment, employment, payroll, equipment, and support.
How much does it cost to hire dedicated developers?
Costs vary by seniority and roles. Vietnamese teams run lower than Eastern European nearshore on raw rate; TwinTeams operates at the premium-Vietnam tier, comparable to Polish nearshore on rate. The comparison that matters is per unit of delivery, not per hour. Contact us for specific pricing.
What happens when the contract ends?
A defined close-out: we hand over a working team's context, or you acquire the team.
